CurveCare Privacy Policy

CurveCare ("we," "our," or "us") provides a post-surgical recovery companion app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create a CurveCare account, we collect your email address and, if you use Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides for that sign-in method.

Recovery and health-related information. To provide your personalized recovery plan, we collect information you choose to enter, including: your procedure type(s) and surgery date, garment stage, drain output logs, symptom and mood entries, and progress photos you take within the app.

Payment information. Purchases are processed by Apple (via In-App Purchase) or Stripe (for web/Android checkout). We do not receive or store your full payment card details — Apple and Stripe handle that directly under their own privacy policies.

Caregiver sharing. If you choose to share your recovery updates with a caregiver, we share the specific information you select with the contact you designate.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to: generate and personalize your day-by-day recovery plan; let you track symptoms, drains, garments, and progress over time; enable optional caregiver sharing you turn on yourself; provide customer support; and maintain the security and functioning of the app.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health or recovery information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete the information you've entered at any time within the app. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Delete Account & Data. If you signed in with Apple, deleting your account also revokes CurveCare's access to your Apple ID.

Children's Privacy

CurveCare is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
